Benefits of Membership

•Continuing Education
RAM sponsors and contributes to a number of continuing education conferences each year, making it easier for you to keep current on certifications. RAM also provides members with approved continuing education units (CEUs) for Certified Rehabilitation Counselors, Certified Case Managers, and Certified Disability Management Specialists.

•Representation
RAM is a critical liaison to the Montana Legislature and the public. We currently contract with a lobbyist in Helena to monitor and respond to legislation of interest to our members. We advocate for members by participating in the policy process.

Who Should Join
Anyone interested in keeping abreast of vocational rehabilitation issues in Montana is welcome to join RAM. Membership is of most particular interest to privately-employed professionals involved in returning injured or disabled individuals to work.

Mission

The purpose of the Rehabilitation Association of Montana is to:

• Enhance the competency and qualifications of private rehabilitation professionals.
• Monitor and influence public policy issues affecting private sector rehabilitation.
• Develop innovative continuing education and career development opportunities.
• Encourage interaction and understanding of issues and trends which affect the profession and competency of members.
• Promote rehabilitation research.
