Association of Montana
an association of vocational rehabilitation
specialists working in the private sector
Rehabilitation
The purpose of rehabilitation is to assist persons with disabilities in
overcoming barriers to employment. Rehabilitation is a multidisciplinary effort
that includes professionals who focus on their clients’ function in a variety of
specialized areas, including physical, psychological, educational, and
vocational.
What is RAM?
The Rehabilitation Association of Montana (RAM) is an organization of
professionals who provide rehabilitation services in the private sector. Our
members primarily include, but are not limited to, vocational rehabilitation
specialists whose goal is to return their clients to the workforce. These
specialists work with employees, employers, medical providers and insurance
companies to facilitate return to work for individuals with disabilities. Many
RAM members are also actively involved with employers in programs to address
safety issues, to prevent accidents, and to control work injury costs.
RAM members include individual professionals, students, and associates.
Many
of the documents and forms available for download from the RAM website are in
